Last week gave us what we’ve been waiting for, a market without chaos. With no sudden moves or IV collapses, the 10K Strategy hit its stride. The Composite gained +4.8%, its best week of 2025, with all four portfolios in the green:

This winning week came from a mix of calm daily price action, modest trading (just 22 total trades), and a welcome 15% rise in implied volatility (IV). I capitalized by selectively adding spreads while still keeping overall cash levels in check.


This was a textbook example of how the 10K Strategy can hum when conditions cooperate. We didn’t need to scramble or over-adjust — the portfolios did the work.


Looking ahead, I'll be monitoring key earnings like NVDA and macro events like GDP and PCE reports. But for now, portfolios are well-positioned, and exposure is balanced with a slightly bullish delta.

  • Trade Set Up – Call Credit Spread: Sell the June 20th 101/103 call spread for at least $0.36 in credit

  • Sell to Open: TGT 20 Jun 101 Call

  • Buy to Open: TGT 20 Jun 103 Call

  • Expiration Date: 6/20/2025

  • Minimum Credit: $0.36 (= $36 per spread)

  • Cash Needed: $200 per spread

  • ROI on Winning Trade: 21%

  • This is a bear call spread, which profits if TGT stays below $101 through 6/20/25

  • Risk is limited and defined, since it’s a vertical spread
