I love summer. Don't you? Not only for the warm hot weather, but also for the fresh produce you can get for a fraction of the price. (Hello, farmer's market!) Berries are one of my favourite fruit! Nature's candy, as they say! Since I had so many blueberries leftover, I didn't want to freeze them. So, after some blank stares and a few ingredient searches through my fridge later, I created the sister-bread to Cinnamon buns! Lemon Blueberry Buns! Soft, decadent lemon-zest sweet bun rolled with homemade blueberry-lemon compote filling & glazed with lemon icing. Delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. A perfect summer treat!
