Can you believe it's already time for Summer Reading again?

If you participated last year, then this year's program will be very familiar. We'll be holding nine raffles, starting in July, and you can earn raffle tickets by logging your books online.

The big news is our new summer reading website, which was built from scratch to be simple, clear, and easy to use. Just like last year, you'll be able to log your books online, pick your virtual raffle basket, see what your fellow Readers have read, and climb the leaderboard. (And no one will mysteriously disappear from the leaderboard this year!)

Want to poke around the new website a few days early? Sign up to get started. Once the program starts on Wednesday, you'll be able to add books.

In other news, booklets are back—although they aren't required. When we first introduced Summer Reading booklets, they were a huge hit. I know I loved designing them! And while there are many great features to our online program, nothing beats having a souvenir to hold in your hands. The booklet will have an optional reading log and a list of challenges to complete for small prizes! You can also download a copy.
