Summer Reading Week One!

Our first week of summer reading has been FANTASTIC! 146 summer readers have registered so far—that's up from 93 last year. All together, we've read 77 books. Wow!

This newsletter was written Wednesday night, so the numbers have certainly gone up since then.

Berlin-Peck Book Lists

Recently Read

Take a peek at what your fellow summer readers are reading! Open only to registered summer readers, the recently read page lists the books read in this year's summer reading program, plus reader reviews and a link to the catalog.

NoveList

The NoveList database is a powerful tool that Librarians turn to for great reading recommendations. NoveList has reading lists for genres, authors, and even specific books—plus an Appeal Mix tool, which lets you combine factors like quirky characters, offbeat tone, and witty writing style, to find exactly the right book for you (in this case, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!) To use the Appeal Mix tool, click "try our appeal mixer" on the front page, or click Browse By then Appeal.
