It's the second week of summer reading, and we have 233 adult summer readers as of Thursday afternoon, with an impressive 624 books finished. Wow!

Safari Mini Golf Update

Problem solved! You can now select the Safari Mini Golf raffle from the drop down. Please accept this humble Site Guru's apologies... the raffle date was set to July 10, 1913. While our summer reading rules do not explicitly forbid time travel, we do want to avoid any temporal paradoxes. The raffle date has been corrected to July 10, 2025.

There's Still Time!

The first 100 summer reading participants get a free ice cream or coffee! There are a handful of Praline's Ice Cream coupons left, along with a good number of Aroma Joe's coupons. If you haven't gotten your coupon yet, visit the Reference Desk!

Team Progress

The Book Worms are in the lead with 110 books—and they've made it past our first team prize, a team bookmark! Bookworms, we'll send you an email when your bookmark is ready. We better get busy, because The Underliners and The Hidden Gems are just about to read the team bookmark prize, with 94 and 95 books respectively. The Book Besties and The Cliffhangers are close behind, with 86 and 82 books. Finally, The Literary Legends and The Reading Rangers are only three spaces away, tied at 78 books!
