Week 10 of Summer Reading!

It's the 10th week of summer reading! There's just over one week left... where did the time go? We're up to 280 adult summer readers, with a total of 2519 books finished. This time last year, we were at 2513 books!

Prizes, prizes, prizes!

Congratulations to Kelly! With just 2 ticket in this raffle, Kelly is the winner of a gift card to Cozy Cup Bakery and Cafe (yum!) There is still one raffle left, and tons of great prizes on the prize cart, so keep reading!

Don't forget to register for the Reader's Retreat to enjoy your hard-won mocktails, cookies, and ice cream toppings! We're up to 34 attendees, so it's going to be a PARTY! 🥳 Laurie and Anne are hard at work planning fun activities 🎉

Team Progress

The finish line is looking crowded! The Book Worms have read 526 books, followed by The Book Besties at 446 books, The Reading Rangers at 410 books, The Underliners at 378 books, and The Cliffhangers at 368 books. The Literary Legends have scooted just over the line with 361 books.

Let's all cheer on The Hidden Gems, who are up to 336 books! They're only 24 books from the finish line, which is about half a book per team member. You can do it! (But everyone gets ice cream, mocktails, and cookies either way—it's all in good fun!)

Leaderboard

With only one weekly newsletter to go, there has been a major upset in the leaderboard! equintana has moved into first place, pushing pearlmsqueaks into second place! calbain remains in third place, followed by TheRantingGnome in fourth place. sharonkay and szy09 are tied for fifth place. Cathy is in sixth place, ntine10 is in seventh, and amjastern is in eighth. Finally, Beth and Fawn are rounding out the pack in ninth and tenth place.
