Subject: The only kettlebell you need

There are only three kettlebell weights.

One that whispers, one that shouts, and one that talks. You have to find the one that talks to you.

Have you ever learnt from a teacher who talks softly? Me neither! You get snippets and try to fill in the blanks as best you can. This is what happens when your kettlebell is too light. It just whispers to you, and your body does not get the message to get stronger.

When the kettlebell shouts at you, it is like being chewed out by your teacher. You cannot think straight. You go into survival mode and are just glad when you can put the kettlebell down.

When your teacher talks to you with a calm and assertive voice, you listen and learn, adjusting your progress through the guidance of your teacher. This is what happens when you find the kettlebell that talks to you. Adjustments can be made on the fly. Your body responds with strength and muscle gains.

With appropriate programming and commitment to the process, the kettlebell that talks to you starts whispering, and the one that was shouting at you starts talking to you. You got stronger. Now rinse and repeat.
