Subject: Your invite to our newest launch - 30 September in Glasgow

You are invited to the launch of our new online learning platform
designed to support Scotland’s multi-agency workforce and carers
who work with young adults with experience of care and justice.

“The workforce needs support, time and care to develop and maintain relationships. Scotland must hold the hands of those who hold the hand of the child.” Care Review and The Promise Scotland

What is it?

This platform has been shaped by people with both lived and professional experience, and is built to be practical, accessible and directly relevant to the realities of frontline work.

Why is it important?

Transitions from care can be among the most challenging experiences in a young person’s life. The quality of support they receive is profoundly influenced by the skills, confidence, and wellbeing of the adults around them. This platform is our response to what we have heard from the workforce: that to realise the promise, we must nurture those who nurture others.

Who is it for?

Free to Staf members, the platform offers reflective, practice-based online learning, designed to enhance critical thinking and spark good conversations within teams, multi-agency meetings and supervision sessions.

Who should attend?

This free launch event is for anyone in a supportive, relational or developmental role across housing, social care, youth work, justice, employability and beyond, who walks alongside young adults experiencing care or justice transitions.

When and where is the event?

Tuesday 30 September 2025

1.30-4pm

The Ramshorn, Glasgow

Please join us for an introduction to the platform, a demonstration of its features and reflections on why nurturing Scotland’s workforce is vital now more than ever. This event is free but you must register on our website.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important event and sharing this new resource with those who support Scotland’s young people.

With best wishes
Maggie and the Staf team
