Subject: Feature in our 2025 national conference line-up

It's time to talk about our 2025 Staf National Conference. The highlight of our events calendar, it's also your opportunity to share innovation and best practice with peers.

Following last year's sell-out event, we are back at the Stirling Court Hotel for 2025 with Thriving Together in Complexity: Deepening relationship-based practice with young people at the heart on Tuesday 11 November.

With Staf's unique blend of workforce input alongside the voices of care experienced young people, now is your chance to showcase your work as part of the programme.

About our conference

In a landscape where services and systems increasingly feel fragmented, stretched and complex, relationships remain our most powerful tool for change. For those working with care experienced young people - and for young people themselves - it is the strength and safety of relationships that can transform lives.

Our 2025 conference will bring together practitioners, policymakers and care experienced young people to explore how we can:

  • Sustain and deepen relationship-based practice in the face of complexity and systemic pressure

  • Create space for connection and trust in environments that are often task-driven or risk-averse

  • Recognise and support the emotional labour of the workforce, and create conditions for people to care and be cared for

  • Centre the voices and experiences of young people as experts in what connection and belonging truly mean

Rooted in Staf’s vision of a Scotland where care experienced young people’s wellbeing and success are at the heart of everything, this conference is a shared space to reflect, reconnect and reimagine what is possible.
