Haudenosaunee Principle
Love is felt when a person is connected to all aspects of life; on all levels of the mind, body, heart and spirit.

Reflection Questions:

When or where do you most often feel that your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are strong?

Does nature and time spent outdoors help children experience a connection between their mind, body, heart and spirit
?
Thirteen Grandmother Moons
The full moon in February is called Bear Moon.

"The second moon of Creation is Bear Moon, when we honour the vision quest that began in the fall. During this time, we discover how to see beyond reality and to communicate through energy rather than sound."

Taken from Arlene Barry's series of teachings 'Kinoomaadiewinan Anishinaabe Bimaadinzinwin', reproduced by Union of Ontario Indians/Anishinabek Nation.

Wild Berries
"Tch, tch, sh, sh, tup, tup.
Spend the day picking wild blueberries with Clarence and his grandmother. Meet ant, spider, and fox in a beautiful woodland landscape. This book is written in both English and Cree, in particular the n-dialect, also known as Swampy Cree from the Cumberland House area."
