Free Balance & Fall Prevention Screenings

Spencer Hospital Rehabilitative Services will be hosting free Balance & Fall Prevention Screenings in the Spencer community! Each year, millions of adults age 65 and older experience a fall, and one fall doubles the risk of falling again. These screenings give adults and caregivers the opportunity to learn about individual fall risks, explore strategies to improve balance, and discover treatment options that may help prevent future falls.

  • Information Desk & Crossroads: Greet visitors, escort patients, deliver flowers/mail.

  • Gift Shop: Assist customers, stock shelves, create cheerful displays.

  • Magazine Cart: Brighten patients’ days with magazines.

  • Special Projects: Help with tasks as your schedule allows.

  • Hospice: Provide comfort and companionship to patients and families.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, the Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation has recently invested in Vestibular Goggles — a cutting-edge infrared system that tracks eye movement to help diagnose dizziness and other vestibular-related symptoms.


This advanced technology allows our team to provide even more accurate evaluations and improved care for patients experiencing balance and other issues.
