Donor Dollars at Work

Many thanks to the Happy Hoofers Relay for Life team of Ringsted and Armstrong who recently held their annual fundraiser golf tournament to purchase $1,500 worth of Hy-Vee gift cards which they generously donated to the Abben Cancer Center. These cards are given to patients who would benefit from assistance with gas, medications, meal prep, snacks, or maybe even a tasty treat. What a kind and thoughtful gift for patients undergoing cancer care. Thank you!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Denise Cook and her family, Ryan and Brandon, for their wonderful surprise visit to Abben Cancer Center! They recently held the 4th Annual Cookie Memorial Mini Golf Tournament in Everly in memory of Kevin Cook, who bravely battled cancer until late 2020. We are grateful for their generous donation of $2,000 which will support our patients and families with a variety of needs. Thank you for honoring Kevin's memory and making a meaningful impact in our community!
