Specialist Initiates Orthopedic Clinic at Hartley Family Care

Dr. Michael Dirkx, orthopedic surgeon and specialist with Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint & Sports Surgeons of Spencer Hospital, will initiate an orthopedic clinic at Hartley Family Care beginning June 1, with patients scheduled the first and third Thursdays of each month.

Annual Garden of Life Scheduled for May 24 in Spencer Hospital Grand Avenue Park

Community members are invited to join the annual Garden of Life planting in Spencer Hospital's Grand Avenue Park on Wednesday, May 24th at 5 PM. Each donation for the Garden of Life campaign that is given to the Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special caregiver will be represented by a blooming plant.

Happy Nurses Week to our Spencer Hospital Nurses!

We LOVE our nurses and enjoyed celebrating them during National Nurses Week May 6-12th! Spencer Hospital's Nurse Governance Image Council coordinated with our marketing team in compiling videos of nurses who shared why they chose to go into the nursing field.
