Spencer Hospital Named One of the Nation's Top Community Hospitals for Fourth Consecutive Year
Spencer Hospital has again been named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States, earning the designation for the fourth consecutive year. The nation’s top rural hospitals are recognized annually by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.

Regarded as one of the industry’s most significant designations of performance excellence, the annual Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals award is based upon the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX® developed by iVantage Health Analytics.

Abben Cancer Center Welcomes Dr. Marks
Radiation Dr. Michael Marks has joined the Spencer Hospital medical staff, providing care for patients treated at Abben Cancer Center.

“Dr. Marks will continue Abben Cancer Center’s long tradition of offering exceptionally trained and highly experienced oncologists to meet the care needs of our patients," commented Spencer Hospital President Bill Bumgarner.
