The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti captures the apogee of what great Burgundy can be! Historically, the domaine is one of the most important in the Côte d’Ôr and represents everything that Burgundy stands for in terms of its unique relationship to the sun, the earth and all its inhabitants. Each terroir vinified exemplifies a timelessness dating back to agricultural roots in France’s Moyen Âge when Cistercian monks plowed and harvested the hallowed vineyards of both the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.

Under the inspired leadership of Aubert de Villaine, the estate utilized its historical relevance as a point of departure to produce even greater wines of impeccable finesse, elegance, complexity and richness. There are very few estates in the world that can match the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in terms of breed, pedigree and nobility. Rigorously pursued by collectors across the globe, the wines produced are patrician through and through exhibiting an aristocratic, albeit enlightened, sense attesting to the quality heights which the Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay grapes can soar.
