| | | The Ca' Rome Barbaresco Rio Sordo 2020 was crafted from carefully selected grapes and aged 24 months in 25-hl Slavonian oak barrels. A small part aged in barrique. Then it was further aged in bottle for at least 10 months before release. It is the product of a warm, outstanding vintage in Barbaresco, but the polished nature of the abundant tannins in this wine, combined with that ethereal mix of flowers, garrigue and deeply-ingrained red and black fruits make this one of the true standouts from this unique harvest. |
