95 Points! The red blend 2023 Anza was produced with Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Malvasía, Calagraño, Viura and Moscatel grapes from the zones of Laguardia and Elvillar, produced in a fresh and direct style with no makeup. It fermented with some stems by plot and zones and matured in used 500-liter barrels and oak vats of different sizes for 12 months... The wine is clean, open, aromatic and nuanced. None of the reds show any aromatic influence from the wood. It has a contained 13.5% alcohol and a very balanced, medium-bodied and elegant palate, with very fine tannins. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

Château La Fleur de Boüard Chardonnay Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique 2021

When most wine lovers think of Bordeaux, Chardonnay is just about the last thing that comes to mind. But Hubert de Boüard, the visionary behind Château Angélus and La Fleur de Boüard, has never been one to color inside the lines. This is a guy who's spent a career chasing quality wherever it leads him, convention be damned, and the 2021 La Fleur de Boüard Chardonnay is proof that world-class white can come from the most unexpected corners of the wine world.

La Fleur de Boüard has long been one of the leading estates of Lalande-de-Pomerol, known for the same obsessive attention to detail that made Angélus famous. That relentless pursuit of quality is all over this tiny-production white. It's inspired by great white Burgundy, sure, but make no mistake, this wine has a personality all its own.

Architect Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Napa Valley 2016

2016 a great vintage in Napa and a stunning harvest. This wine is absolutely screaming right now. The wine, sourced and crafted by top-flight winegrower/winemaker Steve Matthiasson, harkens back to the classic, polished, age worthy, balanced Cabernet Sauvignons from Napa's past. Think about the great old BV Reserve Georges de Latours, Corison or Montelena wines, which fit Steve's style and mantra.
