Spectrum Wine Acquires Wine Cellar Club, Expanding Its Fine Wine Storage Platform to More Than 73,000 Square Feet

Santa Ana, California, September 30, 2026 — Spectrum Wine, a global marketplace for buying, selling, and storing fine and rare wines and spirits, announced today that it has acquired Wine Cellar Club (WCC), one of Orange County’s premier and longest-established professional wine-storage providers.

Since 1992, WCC has earned the trust of collectors throughout Southern California through personalized service and the meticulous care of its facilities, providing a secure, professionally maintained, climate-controlled environment for customers’ wine collections.

“Wine Cellar Club has built an exceptional reputation over more than three decades. Its long history, premier Irvine locations, and commitment to personal service and the careful protection of its customers’ collections make WCC a natural fit for Spectrum. We look forward to building upon everything that has made WCC such a respected destination for collectors.”

A 73,000-Square-Foot Storage Platform

The acquisition adds approximately 34,000 square feet across WCC’s two Irvine facilities, bringing Spectrum Wine’s total professional wine-storage footprint to more than 73,000 square feet. With facilities in Santa Ana, Newport Beach, Irvine, and Hong Kong, Spectrum Wine is now one of the largest professional wine-storage operators in the United States.

WCC customers will also gain access to Spectrum Wine’s auction, retail, consignment, collection-management, and logistics services.

The transaction follows Spectrum Wine’s 2025 acquisition of Wine Exchange, the iconic Orange County wine retailer established in 1982. Together, Spectrum Wine, Wine Exchange, and WCC create an integrated destination where collectors can purchase, sell, professionally store, and manage their wine.

“Following our acquisition of Wine Exchange, welcoming WCC into the Spectrum Wine organization is another important step in expanding the services we provide collectors. Spectrum can now support customers through every stage of the collecting experience.”

Honoring a 34-Year Legacy

WCC was founded by Steven Greenberg in 1992 in response to the growing demand for premium wine storage in Orange County. Spectrum Wine thanks Steven and Felicia Greenberg for building an outstanding business and for their many years of dedicated service to WCC customers and the Southern California wine community.

“For 34 years, my greatest joy has been reinventing the business model of a full-service, professionally managed wine storage facility.

“Wine Cellar Club was never just a place to store bottles. We built it as a members’ club, with art and relaxing classical music, extraordinary BYOB tastings, and a community where collectors could truly enjoy their wine. It had never been done this way before.

“The friendships I made along the way were the real reward, and I am grateful for the opportunity to build this side by side with Felicia. I will never forget the wonderful people I had the privilege of sharing a glass with and calling my friends. I am proud to entrust WCC and its members to Spectrum Wine.”

What This Means for WCC Members

WCC’s two Irvine facilities will operate under the Spectrum Wine brand while continuing to provide collectors with the same secure, professionally maintained, climate-controlled storage and personalized service they have trusted for more than three decades.
