Subject: YOU can make a difference in the fight against addiction

Self-empowering, "No Blame, No Shame" recovery training
Dear Friend,

I am writing to you today with the hope that you will make a special donation   to SMART Recovery's annual growth fund before midnight on the 31st.

The ongoing opioid crisis has made it painfully clear that the resources available in our local communities to deal with this health challenge are in short supply.  The need for our unique, self-empowering program, based on cognitive therapy methods, has never been greater.
No child aspires to a life of addiction, and yet nearly one in every 10 Americans over the age of 12 has an addiction of some sort. They are our moms, dads, sisters, brothers, friends and many who want to break free never find the treatment or support they need.

Your gift empowers individuals to achieve freedom from addiction and go on to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Caitlin Darfler finally achieved long-term recovery when she found the peer support and recovery training that SMART provides. Her recovery experience is a beautiful example of self-empowerment and the potential that exists in recovery.

Thank you on behalf of all those who are seeking our self-empowering, no blame, no shame, addiction recovery program.

With Gratitude,

P.S. When you make a special gift before midnight, December 31st your gift will be doubled! All gifts are used to equip more people with the tools they need to recover from all types of addiction.
