I feel inspired to share with you an exercise that I use everyday.
This is something so pure and easy, and yet it continually awes me at how important and wide-reaching the results are.
Consider for a moment how sometimes we find a very simple thing that can bring a lot of goodness into our lives.
This simple exercise can fill you with a renewed sense of purpose and joy, and it only takes a couple of minutes.
I call it The Gratitude Exercise, and I would like to show you how it can change your life.
Gratitude Exercise:
- First, write down 10 things you are grateful for.
- Next, find as quiet a place as you can, and just settle in to your own space for 5 minutes.
- Now, ask for guidance for the day. You can ask yourself, a higher power, or just offer the request as a general thought.
- After this, send love to anyone you have difficulties with, including those people with whom you may be experiencing any emotional pain.
If you do these simple steps every day it will completely change your Attitude, and your Attitude is what orients you toward the fulfillment of your fondest wishes.
A simple shift is all it takes!
William James said it best:
“The greatest discovery of this generation is that you can alter your life by altering your attitude of mind.”
Pretty cool, right?
You can change your life just by changing your attitude! If you take just a few moments with this exercise every day, it can bring abundant love and a sense of tranquility that will resonate throughout your entire life, and draw more beauty and happiness toward you.
