Subject: [Meditation] Fulfill The 4 Goals Of Life

Hey!

So today I wanted to briefly discuss the importance of meditation and
share with you a great guided meditation by Deepak Chopra.

==> [Meditation] Fulfill The 4 Goals Of Life

We are comprised of mind, body and soul, and it is connected and interconnected.

Nourishing and enriching each part is important to your overall well being.
This is what meditation does.

“Meditation is the progressive quieting of the mind until it reaches its source in pure silence”

-The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

Meditation thus takes you to the source of thought, which is pure awareness on the unconditioned mind.

==> Experience Inner Silence

There are many benefits to meditation that are well known and scientifically proven. According to the ancient tradition Vedanta, meditation
is a means to fulfill the 4 goals of life..

Dharma is the alignment of the elements and forces of the body, with the elements and forces of the universe. This is possible as we are made up of the same “stuff” as the universe. When you are in alignment you have health and the ability to express your unique skills and talents.

Artha is material abundance in all of its forms including money, success, and fortune. Many people have a guilt of wanting wealth and abundance, as it has been associated with greed. This is simply not true. Do not be apologetic for your desire for wealth/abundance.

Kama is one's innate urge to attain one's aspirations. It also encompasses pleasure in all it’s forms. We are a physical body after all that enjoys pleasure.

Moksha is freedom from the conditioned mind. This means
you
can go beyond all conditioning into the field of infinite possibilities.
