Hi, It’s Sean
Happy Monday!
We do our best to show our appreciation to our wonderful subscribers…
We
thought we would offer the perfect way for you to jumpstart your week.
You’ll find below our way of sending love, and you’ll also find and
interesting gift that can help you gain control of the pain (This one is
for chronic pain sufferers) that has been ruling your life.
Enjoy!
Our Way Of Sending Love
There
was time, not too long ago, when a hand-made gift was the only kind of
gift you could give someone. There were no major department stores
selling the latest stuff that you and all your friends have, instead
when you got a gift, you knew that it was hand-made. Even more common
was that a gift would be hand-made by the person presenting it, with
time and care spent crafting it with you specifically in mind. Can you
see how important that made every article received? No matter what it
was, everything was hand made with attention and love.
Well,
while we can’t send our amazing community a physical gift each day, we
do our very best to send you gifts that are lovingly made to help you in
your journey through life.
Today is no exception as you’ll find a collection of just such gifts at the link below and they won’t cost you a penny.

| | How Pain Impacts Your Life
How
pain impacts your life can be different depending on your individual
situations, but one thing is sure: chronic pain goes beyond the physical
to change mental and emotional health and all the relationships around
you. Here are just some of the ways in which pain affects your life and
how you can help yourself.
Chronic pain is strongly linked to
major mental conditions including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. A body
having chronic pain continually sends stress signals to the brain,
leading to an elevated perception of that pain and the perceived level
of threat.
This explains some surprising statistics. Fibromyalgia
patients experience depression at over 62% , and 56% have increased
anxiety (the general population is only at 7% and 18%, respectively).
Chronic
pain essentially changes the way the brain processes emotions and the
pain itself. People with chronic pain are more likely to experience
depression as the pain acts on the parts of the brain that regulate
emotions and sleep. When we are sleep deprived, feelings of sadness,
anxiety, and pain become stronger. The brain also begins to anticipate
pain, leading to anxiety and PTSD.
Just as chronic pain can lead
to depression, depression itself can lead to chronic pain. This is a
vicious cycle that can be very difficult to break.
How you can
help yourself? Begin by getting this gift that our friend Michael is
generously offering. You’ll love this gift and I especially like the
techniques on page 4.
