Today I must share with you some scary news and a great
outcome.
Yesterday Sterling and his wife Vanessa went for a quad ride
in beautiful Sedona. It was a new trail, so they were taking their time. They
came upon āDevils Staircaseā (a part of the trail). They started down slowly to
test the trail. Sterling noticed that the quads started slipping with the loose
rocks and steep terrain.
He yelled to Vanessa to āStopā. They stopped and Sterling
got off his quad to go down and help Vanessa turn her quad around by hand. He
looked down to shut off his quad and when he looked up (it was literally one second)
he saw Vanessaās quad rolling down the mountain with her under it (flipping end
over end)!
He told me he was praying the whole time trying to reach her as he
thought he had just witnessed the end of his wife because the quad flipped on
top of her.
Well, our family had a Guardian Angel yesterday as when he
got to her and grabbed her to keep her from rolling farther down the hillā¦ his
prayers were answered. While she does
now have a badly broken wrist (and likely will need surgery), it could have
been a completely different story and she could be not with us at all.
They always use the Go Pro to capture the beauty of their rides.
So, when I watched the footage I was horrified.
So today I want to make sure that you have a connection with
