Hi .. it’s Teri.
First of all.. Happy Mother’s Day and
don’t forget to tell the women in
your life you love them today!
Now.. on to more about intimacy.
:-)
Has there ever been a time in your
life when you have craved touch? I
know I have had those times more than
once. This is because we as humans
have this ingrained in our DNA.
Touching someone means to “connect”
with them and can help people and you heal.
And believe it or not.. connecting
through touch is an “Art” and it can
be uncomfortable for some people.
However.. it is crucial for
intimacy.
Here is a short exercise just to
facilitate a level of
comfort..
-
Find
a quite space.
-
Spend a few
minutes to get into a light,
meditative state.
-
Have
your partner turn so that his/her
back faces you while standing,
about 12 inches
apart.
-
Rub
your palms together in little
circles for about 30 seconds as you
do slow, deep
breathing.
-
During exhale,
imagine energy flowing out of your
hand in shapes like circles,
squares and
triangles.
-
Draw
these shapes – one per breath – on
your partner’s back (no actual
touching).
-
See
the energy flowing from your hand
onto their back.
-
Your
partner, also taking slow breaths,
should attempt to name the shape
you are drawing.
After a few
minutes, switch.
This was just a short example and the
more in depth you go, the more
benefit you’ll get. Tantra can help
immensely!
The primary goal of Tantra is the
unconditional merging of two
partners.. however can be used for
“self” as well. Hence all the
practices, techniques and concepts
are designed to penetrate all three
layers of our consciousness —
physical senses, mental
models and your energetic
blueprint. The result is
deep transformation of the self that
often spills into every aspect of
your life including habits and or addictions. Meaning, you’ll be
a different person after
this journey.
