Earth Day: A Time to Reflect and Act Earth Day, celebrated worldwide on April 22nd, serves as a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our planet. It's a day when individuals, communities, and businesses come together to raise awareness about environmental issues and take meaningful steps towards sustainability.
It is about working every day of the year in order to progress on the own sustainability path.
The main sustainable elements that we are working on are
- Reducing as much as possible (non-recyclable) plastic packaging
- Choosing transport and shipping operator that use alternative fuel to transport our good, such as bio methane, HVO (= Vegetable diesel) and hydrogen; in this space we have partnered up with a green startup which provides payment system only dedicated to these type of fuels and we are co-operating together to chose transport operators which are sensible to this and are mastering their journey through decarbonizing their fleets
- Increase co-operation with laboratories that adopt a sustainable product cycle such as our Spirulina products.
