Do you know how hard your animal
are working to take care of you?
Dear Friend,
As Thanksgiving approaches, it's time to remember to celebrate the gifts of love and healing your animals are giving you.
An Animal Communication student once told me about her cat who was able to heal her when no doctor or chiropractor or massage therapist could. She had a painful spot in her back that wouldn't go away. One day, she came home exhausted from work and lay face down on her bed. Her cat climbed up on her back and went directly to the spot that hurt. Kneading his paws over and over in that spot completely relieved her pain, and it never returned.
There's more and more scientific evidence supporting what you may already know: dogs and cats who lives with humans are tuned in to our physical condition, emotional state, and energy levels.
Many animals can actually see auras.
Others can smell changes in our body, such as adrenaline, which increases when you're in fear or stressed. You've probably heard about dogs who can sniff out cancer before medical doctors can find it.
Cats learn about your energy when they lick you. We say they are giving "kisses," but they are also checking out your state of being at the same time.
When your cat climbs on top of you and starts purring intensely, yes, s/he is giving you love, but s/he is also giving you healing. The frequency of a cat's purr is known for it's ability to heal bones and support your overall health.
When animals come to us for attention, it's not always because they're seeking attention for themselves.
Often your animal companion is sensing that YOU need some attention, that YOU need a break from technology, that YOU need to de-stress with a walk outside. Don't be quick to push them aside.
Animals are telepathic. They sense our emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Generally speaking, they're acutely aware of what's going on with you, even when you think they're oblivious.
Do you really think you have a private thought from your animals?
When you're thinking about one of your animals, that animal is tuning in.
The animal many not fully understand what you're thinking and feeling. This is often because
our minds are cluttered with things they don't understand and don't care about.
our minds may jump from one thing to another quickly.
Nevertheless, the animal is aware of your thoughts and feelings.
This is part of telepathic communication.
I used to have a Siamese cat named Violet. When she felt I'd spent too much time at the computer, she'd put her body directly in front of the monitor and refuse to move. If I moved her aside, she'd immediately block the screen again.
My current Siamese, Starlight, climbs into my lap, places her paws over my shoulder and her body across my heart area, and purrs and purrs and purrs. She gets very annoyed if I put her down too soon. She's giving me healing energy and wants me to wait until she's finished.
While I'm sure you give your animals hugs every day and tell them how much you love and appreciate them, it's good to let them also know that YOU know how hard they are working to take good care of you!
This holiday season, give your animals a gift that will last forever
and help the two of you grow closer.
