Dear Friend,
Adopting a new animal companion can be fun and exciting.
It can also be filled with challenges.
These challenges may be minimized or even avoided by having an Animal Communication session before an adoption decision is made.
The conversation during the Animal Communication session includes existing animal companions and any new animal whom you're considering as an addition to your family.
Existing animal companions may want to know the answers to these an other questions:
Why are you bring someone new home? How will my relationship with you change because of a new animal? Will you still have time to spend with/play with me? How will the new animal "fit in" with our existing animal group?
The new animal may also have concerns, some of which may be:
Why are you interested in adopting me? What do you expect of me? Will I be able to fulfill your expectations? How will other animals in the family treat me? Will my needs to be met? What will happen to me if I don't fit into your family or if you have to move or something else happens?
In addition to answering questions for each animal, there is also time during the session for existing companions to privately express concerns and misgivings to you.
They can share what they might want in a new family member as well.
Clarifying what the roles will be and how the current animal family members can help you with the adoption may ease the process for them.
Even if you've already made the adoption decision, preparing everyone before they get together for the first time can go a long way to easing the entire process for everyone.
So the answer to the question.
Animal Communication - before you adopt or after?
AFTER ADOPTION to smooth out wrinkles and fine tune integration issues.
