Remembering Ewa


As many of you have heard or noticed in your recent visits to the restaurant, we have lost one of beloved servers, Ewa. She passed away at the end of March. She was a long-time employee and received many positive compliments over the years for how well she treated her customers. It was truly a shock to everyone to her of her passing. She will be missed. Our prayers are with her family.

Bus Trip to Pierogi Fest

Shoutout to one of our loyal readers Jeremy H. for remining us that fun is just around the corner. We are making efforts to take a Luxury Coach Bus from Sawa's Old Warsaw all the way down to Whiting, IN to visit the ever-popular Pierogi Fest this year. As this is our first bus event in several years, we are looking forward to a great time with lunch on Saturday, July 26th followed by the bus trip and other fun activities during the trip. The all-inclusive price per person is only $70. However, we do have an Early Bird Special for only $65 per person for those who sign up on or before June 25th, 2025.


Updates regarding the trip will be posted on the main event page (see the button below) as well as be sent out in the next edition of the Polonia Gazeta. Sign up now and we will see you on the bus!

Google Us Not

It has been brought to our attention that the infamous know-it-all known as Google has placed several links to delivery via DoorDash under our listing. Please be aware that we DO NOT offer this door-to-door delivery and have no connection to the service. We are working on getting this link removed and in the meantime please let everyone know that we offer carry out when you visit our restaurant or you can call ahead yourself to pick up an order.


Discounts for Seniors

Not too long ago there were rumors flying around that Senior Lunch was only $9.50 on Saturdays thanks to a post on Social Media. The posts have since been taken down and the message has been corrected. Senior Citizens do have a discount of $1 off the regular buffet everyday of the week (that we are open). We do ask that if anyone does come across an ad or post regarding something that is different from what we post on our website that you send an email to Marc right away.


Good To Know

Stop in on the First Thursday of the Month to enjoy Velvet Steak on the buffet. This is a new addition to the Daily Special that we hope you will enjoy.

We got some interesting feedback on the recent submissions and have provided a response to a couple of them. We enjoy hearing from you and hope that everyone who got the surprise in the mail recently will get a chance to use it soon.

Speak Out Response: Seniors get a $1 off the Buffet every day of the week. We do not have a special day for Seniors as they are welcome all the time.
