Welcome to Pierogi Fest

We are planning a trip to Whiting, IN and you are invited!


On Saturday, July 26th, 2025 there will be a Luxury Coach Bus going from Sawa's Old Warsaw all the way down to Pierogi Fest for some sun, fun and maybe food. We look forward to seeing you there!


Let us being by saying that the coach bus can host 50 passengers with no problem, however, we are looking for at least 35 people to sign up no later than Wednesday, June 25th in order to make a proper reservation and move forward with the event. If we do not get the minimum required sign-ups, then the event will be cancelled and refunds will be issued for those that paid up front.

Event Breakdown

The cost is only $70 per person. That includes the full Lunch Buffet at Sawa's Old Warsaw followed by a fun-filled bus trip to Whiting, IN. We will be down there for at around 4 hours before getting back on the bus to come home. The even better news is that for loyal readers of the Polonia Gazeta there is an Early Bird Special going on where you get all that fun and excitement for only $65 per person!


Note that Pierogi Fest has Free Admission, however, it is a good idea to bring some extra cash on hand to purchase drinks, food, and souvenirs. In addition, there will be raffles and split-the-pot on the bus for even more fun.


Sign-up with payment can be done either online via Credit Card or in person at the Restaurant. If you want to do it online, then use the link below to visit the Event Page to find the respective link. Just note that there is a $2 service fee ($67 total) to cover the processing.

How to Plan for the Trip

All of the details for the bus trip will be posted to our Event Page as they come available. The bus does have room for strollers, scooters, and other baggage in the luggage compartment, if necessary. Drinks can be brought on board if they are either aluminum or plastic containers. Coolers may not be brought into the event grounds and therefore must remain on the bus.
