News You Can Use

Bus Trip 2025 - We do appreciate all the feedback provided from the events we tried to schedule to visit the Pierogi Fest and Taste of Polonia this year. We wanted to mention that all of the Prize Packs, Bonus Offers, and Postcards have been mailed out from our promotional efforts mentioned in the previous editions. We look forward to seeing you soon with your rewards.

Valor Games Midwest 2025 - Once again Marc, our very own Air Force Veteran, has returned from the 3-day competition held in downtown Chicago by the Chicago Park District for Disabled Veterans with not one, not two, but three medals from the event. Day one yielded a Silver Medal for the 500-meters Indoor Rowing. Day two qualified for a Silver Medal for the 15-meter novice Archery activity. Last, but not least, day three brought home the Bronze Medal in the Biathlon (Cross-country skiing and air rifle) competition. That is a job well done and thank you for your service.

Feedback Welcome - Note that each edition of the Polonia Gazeta and Polonia Biuletyn are updated to bring you the best content in a format that is intended to be viewed properly with laptops or on your mobile device. If you ever have any issues reading the content or pulling up images, please let Marc know right away.

Over the past several months we have noticed that more people are using the Google Reviews to provide their feedback about Sawa's Old Warsaw and all the great experiences that come from each visit. However, we want our customers to know that the Speak Out Online is always available for those who have issues or concerns with our establishment so that we may better address the situation.

Mindy M. from Chicago, IL

[Most Favorite]: Chicken and split pea soup

[Least Favorite]: Sauerkraut pierogi

[Service Quality]: Service is always the best

[Additional Feedback]: Please change up your menu on specific days of the week. For example, on Wednesdays can you do blueberry pie doggie instead of the same old sauerkraut pierogi? Also can you do split pea soup more often especially on Wednesdays? Can you also switch up the same foods instead of having the same weekly specials maybe one week do something different on the same day the following week so it is not always the same thing.

[Old Warsaw Response] We do put out a few different things throughout the weekdays aside from our staple selections to add some variety, however our Blueberry options are only available on Tuesday. Good news is that will be having Corned Beef & Cabbage on Wednesday, September 17th and maybe some Split Pea Soup to celebrate Halfway to St. Patrick's Day. Hope to see you there!

In other news... If you can read this, then you can win something awesome by finding the total of number times the words "blue" and "blueberry" appear throughout the entire email newsletter and multiply that the number of times "Tuesday" was mentioned. If you think you got the correct answer, then use the Speak Out Online (use the button above) to submit your feedback and include your answer in the comments. Only one entry per email please, and only the correct answer will be eligible to win something, which will be announced in the next edition. Good Luck!!!
