The Prince George's County Social Innovation Fund is proud to present the Social Innovation Worklab Series!

The Social Innovation Worklab series will convene and connect our 360 countywide cohort of leaders, innovators, and rising leaders to develop collaborative solutions to a prioritized list of challenges. This multi-part dialogue series will take a deep dive into the historic and present role of race in Prince George’s County and develop a set of recommendations that reimagines the county to become more just, equitable, and sustainable.

To kick-off our Social Innovation Worklab series, we begin with learning about those that have paved the way for us to succeed today. This session is an in-depth historic look at the rise of the Black Majority in Prince George's County from post-emancipation to the election of the Black electorate. Join us for a thorough lesson and real conversation on the evolution of our beloved Gorgeous Prince George’s and how we will use this knowledge to advance our community.
