April is Financial Literacy Month, the perfect time for you to spread the word about our free MoneySKILL program among the parents and teachers in your life. Share the link to register with your network contacts.
A new study shows that MoneySKILL has improved middle and high school students’ short-term and long-term financial behaviors, such as completing FAFSA applications and opening checking and savings accounts. MoneySKILL is impactful. We’ve seen increased financial knowledge among more than 90% of students who participated in the course.
Our customizable MoneySKILL curriculum, offered in Spanish and English, is free and teacher-approved — and used in more than 50% of U.S. counties.
“Teaching middle school students about money is always challenging! When I found the MoneySKILL program, it simplified EVERYTHING! My students love it and I love the ease of the grading and lessons. Thank you!” - Meg Stewart, M.Ed., Instructor, Purvis, Mississippi Be sure to join our MoneySKILL community on Facebook and Twitter! If you have a MoneySKILL success story, please share it with us by April 30. We appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
Rhonda Ashburn Executive Director AFSA Education Foundation |
