From the Executive Director's Corner
With the new school year in full swing, I recognize that this can be both an exciting and challenging time for educators. In just the past two years, several states have passed new legislation mandating personal finance courses as a graduation requirement, leading to a growing demand among educators for relevant resources.

At the AFSA Education Foundation, we are committed to providing you and your learners with a variety of free personal finance activities, online courses, and classroom tools. In addition to our free personal finance curriculum, MoneySKILL, I’d like to showcase a few additional resources that can complement your personal finance instruction:
  • MoneySKILL: Supplemental Personal Finance Teaching Activities - Over 300 free, digital financial education activities, games, calculators, case studies, articles, and more, which are designed to supplement the delivery of MoneySKILL classes. To access this resource, log in to your MoneySKILL account and navigate to the “Resources” section.
  • MoneySKILL: Supplemental VideosA curated list of free videos and classroom discussion questions that have been organized to align with each of the MoneySKILL modules.
In addition to the resources listed above, the AFSA Education Foundation also has a range of digital brochures, worksheets, and flyers available on our website here.

Thank you for all that you do to promote financial education and best wishes for a successful school year.

Sincerely,

Rhonda Ashburn

Executive Director
AFSA Education Foundation
Ask MoneySKILL!
Can I add another instructor as an administrator to my MoneySKILL class?

Yes. Using the “Admin” link on your dashboard, you can add an existing MoneySKILL instructor as an administrator for your existing classes. Once added, they will have full access to your classes.
Is there a way to upload a roster of students to my MoneySKILL class instead of adding them individually?

Yes. In the “Students” section of your class, there is an “Import Students” link that will provide multiple templates that allow you to upload entire student rosters to an existing MoneySKILL class.
Can I print my student’s MoneySKILL grades?

Yes. In the “Grade Book” section of your MoneySKILL class, there is a “Print Grades” link that will provide a printable PDF version of your class’s grades per module.
