Entrepreneur’s Thanksgiving

Michelle Podlesni
“You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere, and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost." – Helen Keller

Next week in the United States is Thanksgiving, a holiday to celebrate giving thanks and reflecting on our blessings. Sharing good food and football are generally on the day’s menu. It might be a little unconventional in thought, but I am thinking about the blessings of our business when we encounter challenges, obstacles, fear, and discomfort. Sounds crazy being grateful for problems, right? When I was in the Navy many years ago, there was an expression our boot camp instructors used, “What doesn’t break you will make you."

Being an entrepreneur and business owner is a big commitment that is proportionate to the freedoms and financial rewards, though perhaps not as quickly as you had hoped for. That’s where perseverance comes into play. What I am trying to say is that being a business owner will bring up all sorts of emotions and issues that you previously were not aware of.
7 Successful Things Nursing Simulation Labs Have in Common

Simulation IQ
Recruiting and preparing the next generation of nurses is a crucial component of improving worldwide healthcare delivery systems and aggregate patient outcomes. To make institutions more attractive to high-caliber nursing school applicants and better prepare current students for the profession, many nursing schools employ innovative training programs and next generation technologies. Because of this continuous effort to recruit, retain, and comprehensively train students, nursing simulation labs have become an invaluable resource.

Simulation labs are particularly attractive to nursing students because they help bridge the gap between skills trainers, theory coursework, and clinical rotations. These simulated environments provide real-world nursing practice where learners can apply recently obtained clinical skills in a consequence-free atmosphere well-equipped for collaboration and instruction.

However, in an ultra-competitive healthcare education landscape, simply keeping a simulation program in line with current accreditation standards and operating on a status-quo basis is not enough to attract the highest quality students.
Marketing Trends for 2023

Marketing Insider
What are the most important digital marketing trends we’ll likely see in 2023. I’ve already touched on how we can expect marketing to evolve strategically. In this article, I’ll be looking in more detail at specific trends to look out for.

To make a solid plan for the short term, it’s important to keep an eye on where you’re heading in the long term. Nobody can say with 100% certainty what the future of marketing will look like, but industry professionals can offer useful insights and predictions into some of the possibilities.

Nobody could have predicted how 2020 would change the face of marketing. Those who meticulously planned out their marketing activities based on what they knew at the start of that year found themselves needing to scrap their plan and start from scratch.

We ourselves tripled revenues for our weekly blog content service during the pandemic as more businesses realized that content marketing is the most predictable way to generate a return on marketing.

But some things are certain. The future of marketing and business will be more diverse, inclusive, and connected to real customer needs.
