Hi Nurses,
March has been a busy one, and in the best way. I started the month at a conference in Round Rock, Texas for my own nurse owned business, and shortly after that Casey was in Orlando representing NNBA at the AALNC Annual Forum. As an association that has been supporting nurses for more than 40 years, it is important that we continue showing up, connecting with other organizations, and reminding people what the NNBA is all about.
Women's History Month feels especially meaningful when you are surrounded by nurses who are building businesses, leading change, and creating new paths in our profession. That is exactly what this community represents, and I am proud to be part of it with all of you.
Looking ahead, NNBA 2026 will take place July 16–18 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Early bird pricing is still available, and we are excited to welcome Dan Weberg as our keynote speaker. If you are looking for ways to increase your visibility, we also have sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities open.
For member benefits, we are launching quarterly virtual trainings, beginning March 19 and 21. These trainings are free for NNBA members and available to non members for a fee. When you look at the value of the training along with conference registration, members are already close to recouping the cost of their annual membership.
This month we are also focusing on a little professional spring cleaning. What are nurses truly tired of tolerating, and what is actually worth keeping as we build careers and businesses that support the lives we want?
If you are in the early stages of building your business, we have a free workbook and a live training waiting for you.
It is a great month to show up.
