Nurse Inventor - Steve Schmutzer
NNBA member Steve Schmutzer is the creator of IVEA, from Firefly Medical.  He sent me a video they created and I just had to pass it along to you. The video demonstrates great marketing and the appeal of the product.  Steve is interested in nurses and nurse managers seeing the benefits of this product and sharing it with those that make the financial decisions for your facility. I don’t know a nurse that couldn’t benefit from the efficiency of the IVEA. When you view this video you will see that many of us ‘have been there’ and wished this product was around to help us and our patients! Invented by a nurse for nurses. Check out the instructional video here.

8 Ways to Be More Confident and Live the Life of Your Dreams

Are you still waiting to be convinced of the value of Facebook for business? Is it really necessary?

Below are the top 10 reasons your brand needs to be on Facebook. Read through this list and then decide for yourself!

1. Facebook is still the most popular social networking site for marketers.
According to the Salesforce 2015 State of Marketing report, Facebook is still the #1 social channel for marketers in 2015. With 80% of marketers currently using the platform, not being active on Facebook is akin to giving your competitors a golden ticket.
Shakespeare wrote, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” I say a plan by any other name is still a plan; but many different things get labeled "business plans."

You'll see that label on:
• Strategic plans
• Annual plans
• Operational plans
• Feasibility plans
• Business plans for startups seeking investment money

And of course I use the term “lean business plan,” which is what I say all business owners need. No wonder it's confusing! Here are a few tips to help you sort it out.
For the vast majority of my life I didn’t believe I could do most of the things I wanted to do.
I knew I wanted to be in a relationship, but I feared that if I got into one I’d do something to mess it up.
I wanted to perform on Broadway, but even moving to New York City didn’t give me the courage to audition.
I wanted to be a writer, but I thought it was far too difficult to get published and therefore didn’t even try until my late twenties.
Maybe you’ve never been as unsure of yourself as I used to be, but you can likely relate to that feeling of wanting to do something but feeling terrified to start.
