Our lives are overflowing with content. Our inboxes are flooded, Our smartphones are constantly pinging.

"Everything is going content," says content marketing expert Rebecca Lieb, previously an analyst at Altimeter Group, and now VP of content marketing, Teradata Marketing Systems. That includes advertising (think native advertising), social media, marketing and other disciplines. Indeed, IBM, GE and Red Bull are creating more content than Time magazine did in its heyday, according to Lieb.
Meanwhile, companies struggle to fill the need for content fast enough. Email. Search. Social. Banner ads. Blogs. Websites...
After four years of pushing the proverbial rock—or in his case, frozen burrito—up the entrepreneurial hill, Mike Adair could finally see progress. Sales for his Red’s All Natural burritos had grown to the point that he needed a big manufacturing partner to scale up production. A months-long search led to a new factory—and then a blindside tackle by Murphy’s Law.

“We realized that they had overpromised and didn’t have the ability to do a fraction of what we needed,” says Adair, who launched his company, which is based in Franklin, Tenn., on a hunch that the world needed an all-natural burrito, just like the ones his wife made.

Karen Mercereau
RN, iRNPA and Founder of RN Patient Advocates

Karen Mercereau is a nationally recognized visionary leader in healthcare, known for her ability to transcend challenges, and create opportunity from complexity. She brings 46 years of clinical nursing, community and home based healthcare delivery and patient advocacy to the development of the RN Patient Advocates Group Practice in Tucson, AZ. • Be a teacher and guide for patients and their families facing medical issues beyond their level of understanding
  • Facilitate communication in our medical system whose communication patterns are too often strained or interrupted by outdated approaches
