Subject: You’re invited to volunteer for NGLA!

Message from the Executive Director
As we plan for another year, our eyes are set on a number of new and exciting goals. As a partner to numerous institutions of higher education across our region, the country, and Canada, the education we provide to our communities wouldn’t be possible without the hard work, dedication, and passion from NGLA volunteers. As the world around us continues to evolve, so does our approach to meeting the needs of our communities across the Northeast and beyond.

Today, we open the 2024 Call for Volunteers to be part of the team that plans our Annual Conference, supports our Association, and advances the mission of NGLA! We are seeking submissions from individuals who have a passion for creating transformational educational experiences and the ability to think innovatively. Volunteering with NGLA is an extraordinary opportunity to give back while expanding your professional portfolio. The roles we offer range in time, experience, and discipline; wherever your passion lies, I’m certain that NGLA has a role for you on our team. I hope to see you join our team!

Know someone who would be a good fit? We encourage you to share this application with anyone who could be a great addition to the NGLA Volunteer Team. Please direct questions to volunteer@ngla.org or apply by
Thursday, May 18.

I hope you’ll consider joining NGLA’s Volunteer Team. Here’s to our future!

Volunteering with NGLA has helped refill my cup since 2020. Serving alongside other people who are passionate about educating and improving the fraternity & sorority experience for students and professionals has helped me remember why I do the work that I do in my full-time role.
I highly encourage anyone who has the same desire to see the good that our organizations can do to apply to be an NGLA volunteer. You can choose your commitment level based on the time, energy, and talents you would like to share. There's always a way to get involved and help us keep our organizations moving in the right direction.
