Registration Policy Amendment

Our team re-evaluated our registration policy and how it affects our community’s ability to participate in the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference. The pandemic continues to impact each of us in different ways. We acknowledge the concern about a change to your institution’s travel policy after the Early Bird Registration deadline due to COVID-19 that could prevent you from attending the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference. NGLA is amending our registration policy for this year only to account for unanticipated changes in institutional policy and meet our community’s needs to the best of our ability.

If a change to your institution’s travel policy prohibits attendance at the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference after the purchase of registration, the person/group may request a partial refund or a full credit of the amount paid for the 2023 NGLA Annual Conference. The travel policy must be shared with NGLA to be eligible for a refund or credit. If switching from the In-Person Experience to a Virtual Experience is not due to a change of your institution’s policy then there will be no adjustment of the registration fee.

Refund Option
Notify NGLA and provide your institution’s travel policy by February 11 to receive a 75% refund or by February 18 to receive a 30% refund. Starting February 19, no refunds will be offered.

If approved for a refund, you may also switch your In-Person Experience to a Virtual Experience ($25); the $25 will be deducted prior to calculating your refund. If you purchased a registration for the In-Person Experience as well as the Virtual Experience then NGLA will honor the $10 registration rate for the Virtual Experience prior to calculating your refund.

Credit Option
Notify NGLA and provide your institution’s travel policy by February 18 to receive a 100% credit of the amount paid for the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference toward registration for the 2023 NGLA Annual Conference (February 23 - 26, 2023 in Pittsburgh) Starting February 19, no credits will be offered.

If approved for a credit, you may also switch your In-Person Experience to a Virtual Experience ($25); the $25 will be deducted prior to calculating your credit. If you purchased a registration for the In-Person Experience as well as the Virtual Experience then NGLA will honor the $10 registration rate for the Virtual Experience prior to calculating your credit.

The refund or credit will be issued by March 31, 2022. A refund may be to the credit card used for the purchase or via check.

In-Person Experience | Health & Safety Update: Mask Policy

Our team continues to evaluate our policies regularly to ensure compliance with public health mandates and recommendations. In accordance with the recent CDC mask guidance update, NGLA has updated our face coverings policy for the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference.

Everyone joining us in Baltimore, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, must wear a disposable 3-ply, KN95, or N95 mask. Other mask styles such as reusable cloth masks are not permitted. Masks must be worn at all times in all common areas of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront with the exception of meals served in the Grand Ballroom. Presenters may remove their mask during their program as long as they are at least 6 feet from other participants. Presenters will receive additional information closer to the conference.

Together, we can all create an enjoyable experience centered on education and community building by following our health & safety guidelines and Code of Conduct. This means completing verification before attending, wearing a well-fit approved mask throughout the event, and practicing proper personal hygiene.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support of NGLA’s mission. We look forward to seeing you soon!
