5 Reasons to Attend the NGLA Virtual Conference

During a time when we’re overloaded with information, we would like to keep it simple and share five reasons to attend the NGLA Virtual Conference:
  1. Register for as low as $70 per person: In addition to a value-packed rate, NGLA will continue our Quantity Discount - For every ten students that register, one complimentary registration will be provided to a professional from the campus (limit of 4 complimentary registrations).
  2. Choose from 100+ hours of programming: Enjoy four days of robust, virtual programming from the comfort of home or campus including three keynotes, six educational blocks, the Critical Conversations Series, and our newest programs: Lectorials on R.A.C.E. supported by the Order of Omega and The Social Excellence Series in partnership with Phired Up.
  3. Engage in racial justice conversations through the Lectorials on R.A.C.E.: A lectorial is a large-scale educational program underpinned by active student-centered learning, utilizing inquiry-based and adult learning as methodologies of teaching and learning, and involving collaborative and interactive activities in place of traditional didactic lectures and tutorials. These presentations are focused on the topics of Racism, Anti-Blackness, Colorism, and Equity.
  4. Learn to be the world’s best connector, relationship builder, influencer, and group gatherer: Students, professionals, and volunteers are invited to join Phired Up for an immersive educational experience - The Social Excellence Series.
  5. Have fun! Network through the Whova mobile & desktop application plus programs designed for participants to meet each other. Enjoy entertainment in the evening after an engaging educational experience during the day.
