A Message from the Board of Directors

Hello members of the NGLA community,

As the days are getting cold and your campus communities are dispersing for the winter holiday, the NGLA Board of Directors wanted to share a message to our constituents. We know that this fall semester has been particularly difficult. Many of us have witnessed the violence and unrest that has plagued our campuses in the Northeast and across the United States.

As an association committed to the education of diverse fraternal communities, we wanted to share with our members the actions we have taken to encourage education and civil discourse among our communities. For the NGLA Annual Conference coming in February 2024, we are offering sessions during all educational blocks that focus on differing identities. We are happy to share several upcoming programs with you in this communication to show our commitment to civility among our communities.

Our sincerest wish for you all is a restful, recharging time as you prepare for the Spring 2024 semester. We see you. We hear you. We hope to work together with you on creating educational spaces where discourse across differences and creating inclusive communities can thrive in fraternal communities across the Northeast.

Fraternally,
The NGLA Board of Directors
