Exclusive Programs at NGLA from ForCollegeForLife and Phired Up!

The Northeast Greek Leadership Association (NGLA) is excited to announce a new partnership with ForCollegeForLife as well as a continued partnership with Phired Up! Both partnerships offer exclusive programs during the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference.
Graduate Student Encounter

If you're a graduate student attending the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference then this program is designed for you!

It is easy to get lost in the sorority and fraternity world. There are so many exciting adventures and opportunities. Sorority and fraternity work is complex, which means there are the decisions that we make with ease and there are the decisions that give us headaches. There are professionals who have come before us and created pathways, walkways, trails and we are eager to create roads, bridges, and ladders for those who come after us. It is essential that new practitioners have clarity around who they are, what they believe, what they are passionate about, and what they want to teach others. New practitioners must create their own plan for success and define what failure looks like for them.

The Graduate Student Encounter features three programs on Friday, February 25 from ForCollegeForLife:
  • It’s Not You, It’s Me presented by Billy Boulden and Dr. Marlon Gibson
  • Expression Matters presented by Chris Molina
  • You Have all the Tools You Need to Be Successful presented by Billy Boulden and Jasmine C. Williams
Michael Davis, Executive Director of NGLA, says, “Supporting professionals in navigating the increasingly complex environment of the Fraternity & Sorority Affairs field is a priority for NGLA. We are fortunate to have a partner in ForCollegeForLife focusing on building the skills necessary to be successful for our graduate-level professionals.”

“Graduate students are essential to the future of fraternity. We are thrilled to partner with NGLA and bring decades of experience and expertise to programming designed for graduate students. We are committed to helping graduate students transition purposefully and successfully into the profession. ForCollegeForLife can't wait to be of service for the NGLA community in Baltimore!”
- Casey J. Cornelius, President, ForCollegeForLife.

The Social Excellence Series features four programs from Phired Up:
  • Social Excellence is a CHOICE presented February 19
  • The ART of Social Excellence presented February 24
  • The SCIENCE of Social Excellence presented February 25
  • Do You MATTER? The Social Excellence Journey presented February 26
Michael Davis, Executive Director of NGLA, says, “NGLA is so fortunate to be able to partner with Phired Up to grow The Social Excellence Series. Now more than ever, there is a need to connect with one another with purpose, empathy, and authenticity. I am certain that this program will impact the lives of attendees and the communities.”

Engagement in last year's Social Excellence Series was overwhelmingly positive. Our team is honored to continue to partner with NGLA in this special way. It's inspiring to see attendees grow in their ability to gather more people behind causes they believe in and that have the potential to change the world!
- RJ Taylor, Vice President, Phired Up
