Prevea launches medical residency program

Prevea Health, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin announced the launch of a family medicine physician residency program in Green Bay.

The MCW-Prevea Family Medicine Residency Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and is the first residency program of its kind to be offered in the Green Bay region. With a planned start date of July 1, the residency program will train four family medicine residents per year during a three-year period with a total of 12 by 2024. The program is now accepting applicants.

St. Norbert College navigates successful in-person semester amid pandemic

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Both students and faculty at St. Norbert College are touting an accomplishment of which they say they’re very proud.

Despite the continued surge of COVID-19 cases in this area for months, the college is just days from completing its first semester of in-person classes.

Sturgeon Bay, WI (November 16, 2020) – Three organizations in Door County have been selected to receive a 2020 Cellcom Green Gift, including Crossroads at Big Creek, Open Door Bird Sanctuary and Door County Land Trust.
Crossroads at Big Creek manages 200 acres across three properties for preservation, environmental education and recreation. The organization received a $1,000 Green Gift from Cellcom to support repairs of the Meadow Trail, which suffered damage during heavy rains this year.
