LITTLE CHUTE -- More than 200 jobs are coming to the Fox Valley.

Excellerate, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated, broke ground on a new facility Monday.

The company gathered with local partners to begin the construction of its new facility. The new building will be 385,000-square feet.

"It's been about three years in the making to get this spot. We've been in the Fox Valley since 1972," said Pat McGettigan, executive vice president of Excellerate. "The community has given a lot to us but now being able to generate another 200-plus jobs is a big piece of that."...

OSHKOSH – A non-profit organization is helping high school students prepare for their future.

Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) 6’s College and Career Readiness Center (CCRC) operates one of the largest youth apprenticeship programs in the state of Wisconsin. They have 1,322 students enrolled in youth apprenticeship program, comprising 32% of the students in Wisconsin.

LTC named top 10 finalist for prestigious Bellwether Award

CLEVELAND – Lakeshore Technical College is the only school in Wisconsin to be named a top 10 finalist for the prestigious Bellwether Award, which is given to community colleges across the country with cutting-edge or trendsetting programs worthy of replication by other schools.

The annual awards are given in three categories: Planning, Governance and Finance; Instructional Programs and Services; and Workforce Development. LTC is a finalist in Planning, Governance and Finance. It is the fourth time in five years LTC has been named a Bellwether Award finalist.

This year's recognition is due to the college’s pre-award grant strategy, which has significantly increased the amount of grant money LTC has been awarded...

Skating rink hours, admission, and rental prices are available at titletown.com/events/recreation/skating. Visitors are reminded that everyone using the rink must complete a waiver and waivers may be completed ahead of time at titletown.com/waivers.

GREEN BAY - Santa Claus still gets top billing, but there will be another famous face with facial hair at this year’s Prevea Green Bay Holiday Parade.

Milwaukee Brewers mascot Bernie Brewer will be joined by the team's Famous Racing Sausages (Bratwurst, Polish Sausage, Italian Sausage, Hot Dog and Chorizo) as special guests when the 38th annual parade steps off at 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown Green Bay. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers mascots Fang and Whiffer will also be among the more than 60 entries.

The “Taste of the Holidays”-themed parade will feature three high-flying giant balloons: a 30-foot Jay Jay the Jet Plane, a 25-foot Grinch and a 20-foot gingerbread man. Popular snow princess children's characters will be the grand marshals...

More than $2.7B in BIL funding has been announced for Wisconsin

More than $2.7 billion in federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding has now been announced for Wisconsin, according to an overview provided by Biden administration officials.

Since the BIL was passed, more than $2.4 billion has been slated for Wisconsin transportation including roads, bridges, public transit, ports and airports, a White House fact sheet shows.

During a call with reporters yesterday, White House Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator Mitch Landrieu said these funds will result in “better roads and bridges that connect people to their loved ones and strengthen our supply chains, faster trains and cleaner buses that decrease commuter times, cleaner air and safer water that helps kids reach their potential, faster and more reliable high-speed internet.”....
