Fox Valley Metal-Tech expanding its facility

ASHWAUBENON -- A Northeast Wisconsin metal fabrication business is adding on.

Fox Valley Metal-Tech is building a 74,800-square-foot addition to its facility at 1201 Parkview Rd. in Ashwaubenon. The expansion will bring the building to a total of more than 175,000 square feet.

The new addition will not only allow for more manufacturing space, it will also allow FVMT to move offsite warehousing and painting and finishing facilities to one location, company leaders say...

Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding to build "sister" barge
DOOR COUNTY DAILY NEWS 

A second 5,500 cubic meter bunker barge will be built in Sturgeon Bay. Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding will be making a sister vessel to the Clean Canaveral, which will be delivered in mid-November. The agreement is with Polaris New Energy (PNE Marine Holdings), which anticipates that new vessels utilizing Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) are expected to be in service over the next several years. Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding Vice President and General Manager Todd Thayse says the benefit of doing a sister vessel allows for a faster build that can save up to five months....

Wisconsin Herd return after shortened 2019-20 season

OSHKOSH -- The Wisconsin Herd hosted their season opener at the Oshkosh Arena Monday night. It was the first time the team took the court since their season was cut short in 2020 because of the pandemic.

For these Wisconsin Herd season ticket holders, the home opener for the 2021 season has been a long time coming.

"I was just excited that it was going to happen, and nothing was going to get in the way of it from happening," said Mary Murken of Oshkosh.

"We went to the draft party and we started there, and then you get built up, and then they say 'okay your tickets are on your phone' and you're like 'oh my god.'
