AGC Wisconsin recognized Faith Technologies for its work on the Children’s Wisconsin Master Campus Improvement Project (MCIP) Generator Project. Children’s Wisconsin is a fully integrated healthcare system dedicated to caring for children and teens and is one of the nation’s top pediatric facilities. Faith Technologies was chosen to replace four emergency power generation units. The sale of a cheese factory and the generosity of its late owner will provide $100,000 for a new addition at the Weyauwega Library. The grant is spread out over three years with $50,000 to be awarded in 2023 and $25,000 in 2024 and 2025.

The grant for the library is part of $210,000 awarded to support four nonprofit projects serving the people of New London, Fremont, and surrounding areas.

In addition to the library, the Marilynn W. Taylor/Wohlt Cheese Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region also awarded grants to these charitable organizations...

Report says Wisconsin manufacturers are optimistic despite obstacles

Wisconsin manufacturers are cautiously optimistic about the future — despite hiring challenges, high inflation and energy costs.

That's according to a report released earlier this month by the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing and Productivity, or WCMP.

"Manufacturers are generally an optimistic bunch," said Buckley Brinkman, the CEO of WCMP.

The report surveyed 400 manufacturers from across the state, and conducted five focus groups. It found that hiring was the most common struggle. Those surveyed also expressed concern about inflation and high energy costs...
