Northeast WI manufacturers asked to participate in annual study
NEW MANUFACTURING ALLIANCE

GREEN BAY – The Northeast Wisconsin (NEW) Manufacturing Alliance requests northeast Wisconsin manufacturers to participate in its 12th annual “Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Vitality Index Study”.
 
The Alliance has once again commissioned the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Center for Customized Research and Services to administer the study. Presidents and CEOs of northeast Wisconsin manufacturing companies with at least $3 million in revenue and 25 or more employees are asked to participate in the study. Last year’s study had 128 manufacturers participated in the survey conducted in October and November 2020, answering questions related to financial health, business growth expansion, plant modernization, 2021 hiring intentions and potential skills shortages...

Kewaunee County is thrilled to announce its efforts, alongside Bug Tussel Wireless LLC, to improve broadband signals for those living in rural areas.

On Friday, September 24, a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled in celebration of the County’s most recent steps of the brand-new Ryan’s Corner Tower, which is placed at “N4559 County Road AB, Luxemburg.” This tower, according to the release, is one of seven that Bug Tussel Wireless has built for the County, thanks to grants from the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. TWO RIVERS - Some of the best summer days include sitting in a grassy park with an ice cream cone in hand.

Ice cream is a large part of Wisconsin culture, especially in Manitowoc County. Scream N Conuts, the Washington House, Beerntsen's Confectionary and Cedar Crest are a few of the many places in Manitowoc County a person can go for a tasty ice cream treat.

“In these times, what we’re experiencing today with the COVID crisis, I think people find a lot of comfort in eating ice cream,” said Cedar Crest CEO Ken Kohley. “It makes them happy, you know. I like to come to the front door and see people enjoying our ice cream and laughing. It’s nice to see that.”
