NEW NORTH – College of Menominee Nation President Christopher Caldwell has been named to the board of directors of New North Inc., the organization’s board development committee announced.

Christopher Caldwell has been president of the College of Menominee Nation (CMN) since June 25, 2021. He had served as the college’s interim president for the prior 17 months, successfully guiding CMN through pandemic-related challenges. Miron Construction opens new office at Titletown

ASHWUABENON -- It was a historic day in Titletown. Miron Construction officially opened its new office.

The TitletownOffice, located along Lombardi Ave and Marlee Lane, is a seven-story tower on the west end of Titletown that has five levels of office space.

Miron utilizes nearly 23,000 square feet of the third floor.

John Murphy, the Senior Vice President of Green Bay operations for Miron Construction, says about 20 employees are currently at the this location, but total growth could reach around 45...

Improved internet access tops list for how Outagamie County can spend federal COVID recovery funds

APPLETON - Roughly 80 leaders from the nonprofit, business, collegiate and local towns and villages of Outagamie County have identified high-speed internet as a top priority for spending $36.8 million in federal COVID-19 recovery funds by the end of 2024.

"If you do not have access to high-speed internet, it is comparable to not having road or water access," said Kara Homan, the county's land services director during a recent finance committee meeting to discuss priorities in how to spend American Rescue Plan Act Funds.....

Deadline for Outagamie County relief grants extended

APPLETON -- There's still time for small businesses in Outagamie County to apply for COVID-19 pandemic relief grants.

The county has extended the deadline for its Phase One Rescue Plan Grants to Sept. 30. The previous deadline was Sept. 9.

“While we’ve received applications from a variety of businesses and areas in the county, we want to make sure all have an opportunity to apply,” Outagamie County Board Chair Jeff Nooyen said in a news release. “The County decided to extend the date to be sure that we are reaching all businesses in Outagamie County that may need help as quickly as possible.”...

NEW LONDON – The Skogen family will soon acquire the last Festival Foods location it does not already own.

But she was locked in her middle-school classroom in Shenyang, China every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. This included weekends and holidays. Competition, for grades and approval, was NFL-level.
