OMRO – The hand sanitizer produced by Henricks Family Distillery has one important thing in common with the liquors they traditionally focus on.

GREEN BAY - Unemployed people and workers who are struggling to support their families can apply for an $8,000 scholarship to pursue higher-paying jobs in one of five high-demand industries.

The Bay Area Workforce Development Board is offering 100 scholarships to residents of its 11-county service region—which includes Brown, Outagamie, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties. FOND DU LAC - Fond du Lac will play host for the first time to festivities offering authentic Mexican food, live bands, a jalapeño-eating contest, a shouting match and a Catholic Mass with Mariachi music.

Sabor a Mexican Festival will be held Sept. 18 and 19 on Oven Island West at Lakeside Park, along the shores of Lake Winnebago.
