Masters Gallery Foods is adding 110,000 square feet to its Oostburg facility and expects to create 125 new jobs

OOSTBURG - Masters Gallery Foods is expanding its Oostburg packaging and distributing center by more than 110,000 square feet.

Crews began building the additional warehouse space in May and expect to be done by the end of March 2022. The expansion will bring the warehouse's total square feet to 285,000.

The facility, built in 2018, has created around 250 jobs since it opened, according to a news release. This expansion will bring an additional 125 jobs to the area, it said...

The whey-converting facility is used to convert, package and ship Sartori cheeses to restaurants, grocery stores and food manufacturers around the world.

GREEN BAY -- Thanks to a federal grant, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is set to embark on an effort to increase diversity within the area’s nursing workforce.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the number of minority nurses in Northeast Wisconsin is far below the national average for regions of similar size.

AARP Wisconsin: Six Wisconsin communities win AARP Challenge Grants

MADISON – Six organizations located in the Wisconsin communities of
Green Bay, Appleton, La Crosse, Madison, Ashland, and Chilton are among 244
projects across the country that will receive 2021 Community Challenge grants
totaling more than $3.2 million this year, AARP Wisconsin State Director Sam

AARP Wisconsin will distribute nearly $88,000 to these six grantees, which are
