WAUPUN -- Tuesday was a first for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Twenty inmates became the first class of people in a DOC-sponsored program to graduate with a liberal arts bachelor’s degree.

GREEN BAY -- Thanks to a federal grant, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is set to embark on an effort to increase diversity within the area’s nursing workforce.

Green Bay, Appleton, La Crosse, Madison, Ashland, and Chilton are among 244
projects across the country that will receive 2021 Community Challenge grants
totaling more than $3.2 million this year, AARP Wisconsin State Director Sam
